A Thermal Modeling Approach and Experimental Validation for an Oil Spray-Cooled Hairpin Winding Machine

چکیده

While the electromagnetic aspects of hairpin windings are actively being investigated and discussed in recent literature, including design rules together with loss calculation reduction techniques, thermal performance modeling have received less attention to date. In windings, conductors (pins) comparatively larger arranged as separate components parallel within slot. contrast, randomly overlap contact each other for traditional random windings. The differences aforementioned winding physical characteristics result a different methodology develop network. This article presents 3-D lumped parameter network (LPTN) approach an oil-spray cooled winding, which includes slot model configuration, end-winding connections, methodologies analyzing sprayed oil characteristics. aforesaid captures unique features related technology cooling mechanism, such nonuniform temperature caused by uneven effects. Finally, taking existing propulsion drive stator bespoke-designed test setup, presented steady-state is experimentally validated covering various experimental tests, spray conditions.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Fine grain thermal modeling and experimental validation of 3D-ICs

3D die stacking is a promising technique to allow miniaturization and performance enhancement of electronic systems. Key technologies for realizing 3D interconnect schemes are the realization of vertical connections, either through the Si die or through the multilayer interconnections. The complexity of these structures combined with reduced thermal spreading in the thinned dies complicate the ...

Multiscale Modeling of Hvof Thermal Spray Process

The major physicochemical processes involved in an industrial HVOF thermal spray process (Diamond Jet hybrid gun, Sulzer Metco, Westbury, NY) are studied by a comprehensive multiscale model. The model includes continuum type differential equations that describe the dynamics of gas phase and particles of different sizes, and a rule-based stochastic simulator that predicts the evolution of coatin...
